Sim Wong Hoo

Sim Wong Hoo is the current CEO of Creative Technology. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of Business Development at ZiiLABS from April 2012 to April 2013. From June 2010 to May 2012, they were the Senior Manager at ZiiMAX Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for coming up with the business plan to sell the first Mobile 4G network in Singapore. Sim was also involved in the planning of the flagship store and responsible for identifying various devices which could be used for consumer usage scenarios. From June 2009 to June 2012, they were the Senior Project Manager at QMax Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for the WiMAX 2010 Program. Sim successfully obtained additional microwave spectrum for backhaul requirements and represented QMax in regulatory meetings overseas with neighboring governmental agency and operators. Sim was then seconded to ZiiMAX with the view of growing the business through their technical understanding of the network to be deployed.

Sim Wong Hoo is a graduate of the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where they earned their diploma in intellectual property and innovation management. Sim also holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the Nanyang Technological University Singapore. In addition, they are certified as a patent valuation analyst from the Business Development Academy.
