Sanjay Agarwal

Sanjay Agarwal has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Sanjay began their career as an Article Clerk at Lodha and Company in 1990 and stayed in this role until 1993. In 1993, they joined Industrial Finance Corporation of India as a Management Trainee/Manager. Sanjay then moved to The IFCI Limited as a Manager, where they worked in various departments such as project appraisal, operations, accounts, resource raising, and investment. In 1994, they joined Credit Analysis & Research Limited as a Joint General Manager, where they handled credit ratings and advisory services related to privatisation, valuations, bid process management, public-private partnerships, and strategic improvement of government companies in the infrastructure space. In 2006, Sanjay Agarwal joined ICICI Bank Limited as a Deputy General Manager, where they were responsible for corporate credit risk management for domestic and overseas branches. Since 2010, they have been working at CARE Ratings Ltd. as a Senior Director.

Sanjay Agarwal completed their ICSE degree from Goethals Memorial School in the years 1976 to 1985, where they studied English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Sciences, and Regional Languages. Sanjay then attended Holy Cross Institute from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained their Higher Secondary degree in Accounting, Management, and Economics. Following this, they pursued a B. Com degree in Economics and Accountancy from the University of North Bengal, from 1987 to 1990. Lastly, from 1990 to 1993, Sanjay Agarwal attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they earned their Chartered Accountant qualification.
