Peter Foster has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a focus on network and system support, infrastructure management, and information security. Peter'smost recent position is as the Chief Information Security Officer at Crisis Prevention Institute, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to that, they held roles such as Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and Manager of Network & Systems Support at the same company. Peter also worked as a SOC Network Engineer at Optiv Inc in 2018.
From 2013 to 2018, they worked at VCPI, where they served as an Architect, Team Lead - Network and Telecom Engineering, and Senior Network Voice Engineer. In this role, they managed and designed VCPI's hosted Cisco Voice-over-IP solutions and successfully completed a major upgrade and migration project.
Before joining VCPI, Peter worked at Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI as the Manager of IT Infrastructure and Senior Network Administrator, where they managed the IT infrastructure team and supported the agency's network and voice infrastructure.
Earlier in their career, Peter worked as an IT Consultant at Rosalie Manor Community & Family Services, Inc. and as a Network Administrator at Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin, where they implemented server infrastructures and developed ERP systems.
Peter Foster attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
