Dr S P Pandey has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Dr S P started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Bombay Dyeing in 1983. Dr S P then worked as a Maintenance Engineer at MPUPN from 1985 to 1987. From 1987 to 1991, they worked at Nitel in the role of Bhopal. In 1992, they joined Escorts Limited as a Senior Services Engineer and later became an Area Manager from 1994 to 1996. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as the Sales Chief and Head of Channel Development at Escorts Limited. In 2018, they joined Escorts Construction Equipment Ltd as the National Head Sales for the Implement Business division. Dr S P then served as the Chief Technology Officer at EM3 Agriservices Pvt. Ltd. from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of VP-Farm Mechanization at Crystal Crop Protection Limited.
Dr S P Pandey has a diverse education history. In 1978, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 1983. Dr S P then attended Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing.
After completing their MBA, Dr S P Pandey pursued a Research Doctorate degree in Marketing Research from PIMR DAVV Indore from 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, in 2014, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where they completed an Executive Program in Strategic Business Development.

Crystal later launched several eco friendly molecules like Buprofezin 25% SC named as Tribune and Abamectin 1.9% EC launched as Abacin and Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG given the name Missile. With such new products endowed with benefits for farmers had made Crystal a success in the agro–chemical industry.
