Dr. Michael Plater is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, and operations within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director for Global Business Development & Licensing at CSL since 2020, Dr. Plater previously held key leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Officer at MiNK Therapeutics, Chief Business Officer at Agenus, and Director of Vaccines Strategic Ventures at GSK. With a strong academic background, including a Doctorate in Molecular Genetics and Protein Biochemistry from the University of Reading, Dr. Plater has consistently focused on maximizing organizational value and driving innovative partnerships across various domains, including cell therapy and immuno-oncology.
