Brent Nelson

Brent Nelson is an experienced manufacturing and engineering leader currently serving as the Cummins Engine Components Manufacturing Automation Leader at Cummins Inc. since September 2023. Previously, Brent held the position of Assembly Center of Excellence Leader at TE Connectivity, where responsibilities included driving continuous improvement and deploying automation initiatives across multiple business units. With a robust background at Cummins Inc. in various engineering roles, including Global Manufacturing Engineer and Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Brent has consistently demonstrated expertise in automation, collaborative robotics, and manufacturing processes. Brent’s early career experiences include significant roles at MAHLE, Emerson Network Power, and Diamond Electric Mfg. Corporation, contributing to production management and engineering efforts across diverse industries. Brent holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
