Shakil Ahmed

Shakil Ahmed is a Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Curtin University, where responsibilities include supervising graduate students and developing courses in Numerical Reservoir Simulation. With extensive experience in research, Shakil has previously held roles as a Course Developer and Unit Coordinator at the Engineering Institute of Technology, and as a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO, leading projects related to two-phase flow and digital rock technology. Shakil's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Swinburne University and a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. Shakil's teaching and research contributions span various topics, including fluid dynamics, process engineering, and carbon capture technologies.
