Tom Hammond

Tom Hammond serves as the Commercialisation Team Lead and previously as the Business Development Manager at Curtin University since June 2012, focusing on developing commercial opportunities from university research. Tom's recent role as Chief Commercial Officer at Mining & Process Solutions lasted from June 2022 to October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at the Australian National University from July 2008 to June 2012 and working as a Brewer at Little Creatures Brewing from 2004 to 2006. Tom Hammond holds a PhD in Zoology from The University of Western Australia, an MSc in Science Communication from The Australian National University, and a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and Biochemistry from The University of Western Australia.
