John Gaida

John Gaida has extensive experience in electrical engineering, currently serving as the Electrical Engineering Manager at CyberOptics since June 1999. Responsibilities include employee management and the application of Agile processes to project management. Prior roles include Senior Electrical Engineer at Scanner Technologies, where design work focused on semiconductor inspection machine motion and vision, and at Ameriweb, where motion control systems for labeling machines were developed. Gaida's career began as an Engineer at KEYC TV, managing control room operations, and as a Lead Engineer at Midstates Engineering, overseeing industrial control systems. Educational qualifications include an MSEE in Controls from North Dakota State University, a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an AA in Mechanical Engineering from Normandale Community College, along with ongoing development in leadership through MRA courses.
