Galina Stepanyuk

Galina Stepanyuk is a seasoned scientist specializing in structural biology and bioluminescence, with over a decade of experience in advanced molecular biology techniques. Currently serving as Scientist IV at Cyrus Biotechnology since February 2022, Galina previously held positions as Senior Scientist at Shape Therapeutics, Inc., and Staff Scientist at Scripps Research, where significant contributions included developing innovative methods for real-time tracking of RNA and protein interactions and high-throughput screening techniques. Galina's academic background includes a PhD in Structural Biology from the Institute of Biophysics, Russian Academy of Sciences, with research focused on coelenterazine-dependent bioluminescent proteins and protein engineering.
