Nate Kish

U15 Head Coach at D.C. United

Nate Kish has a diverse work experience in the field of soccer coaching. Nate started as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at The Catholic University of America in 2010 and then moved on to become the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Emory & Henry College from 2011 to 2013. Nate later served as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at The Ohio State University in 2013 and as the Director of Coaching and Staff Coach at Triad Elite Soccer Club, Inc. from 2014 to 2015. In 2014, they also worked as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Wake Forest University. Nate then joined Baltimore Armour and Soccer Association of Columbia as a Soccer Coach from 2015 to 2016. Nate further expanded their experience by working as an Assistant Coach/Chief Scout and Youth Program Manager at FC Cincinnati from 2015 to 2017. Nate also held the position of Director of Coaching and Staff Coach at Alliance Cincinnati Elite from 2016 to 2017. Nate's involvement with D.C. United began in 2017, where they initially served as the D.C. United Youth Academy U19 and U23 Head Coach until 2019. Currently, they are the U15 Head Coach at D.C. United. Nate also owns Kish Soccer Placement, a soccer placement company that they established in 2019.

Nate Kish obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physical Education and Health Education from Capital University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Frostburg State University from 2007 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Nate Kish also holds several certifications. In 2012, they obtained the Premier Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches. In 2015, they achieved an A License from the U.S. Soccer Federation. Lastly, in 2018, Nate Kish obtained an Elite Formation Coaching License from Major League Soccer.
