Anja Itzenplitz currently serves as the Head of ESG - Sustainability Management & Human Rights Compliance at Daimler Truck AG, overseeing strategic sustainability initiatives, governance, reporting, ESG ratings, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. Prior to this role, Anja Itzenplitz held the position of Head of Divisional Compliance Management at Daimler AG, where responsibilities included Anti-Corruption, Sanctions Compliance, and Data Protection across multiple functions globally. Anja Itzenplitz has a background as a Certified Internal Auditor at KPMG AG, focusing on internal audits, compliance management systems, and risk management. Anja Itzenplitz’s academic experience includes research and teaching positions at Ilmenau University of Technology and FH Schmalkalden, alongside a strong educational foundation in Economics with degrees from Ilmenau University of Technology and Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, complemented by international studies at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
