Sara Inglis-Dawson has an extensive work experience in risk management and assurance. Sara worked as the Head of Assurance and Risk at Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) since 2017. Prior to that, they were the Assurance and Risk Manager at DBP from 2012 to 2017. Sara also worked as a Systems and Safety Manager at Leighton Contractors from 2010 to 2012. Sara has worked as a Consultant to DBP in the role of Technical Compliance - SafetyCase from 2010 to 2010. Additionally, they have experience as a Risk Manager at AMEC Minproc (formerly GRD Minproc) from 2007 to 2010, as well as at Alinta Energy from 2005 to 2007. Sara also worked at Epic Energy as a Heritage, Environment and Land Management Co-ordinator/Risk Management Co-ordinator from 2000 to 2005, and at Wesfarmers Limited in the field of Risk Management/Internal Audit from 1988 to 2000.

Sara Inglis-Dawson completed their education with a Graduate Diploma in Work Health Safety from The University of Western Australia in 2016. Sara also holds a Senior Associate certification in Insurance from ANZIIF. Additionally, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA, a Graduate Certificate in Risk Management from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a field of study in Accounting from The University of Western Australia. Sara has further certifications in Risk Management, Governance and Regulation from CPA Australia and is a Senior Associate CIP Member from ANZIIF, obtained in December 2020.
