Dan-Foam ApS
Thomas Nielsen has extensive experience in laboratory technology and development, currently serving as a Laboratorietekniker for Advanced Technology at Dan-Foam ApS since May 2019. In this role, Thomas develops new types of foam from initial concept through to pilot testing and final handover for production trials. Previously, as a Test Technician at VELUX from April 2017 to May 2019, Thomas conducted physical tests in the Durability Lab and managed laboratory operations, contributing to method development and event organization. Thomas also worked at Dan-Foam ApS from May 2010 to March 2017 as a Laboratorietekniker, focusing on the development and improvement of foam types for production, emphasizing cost savings and enhanced properties. Thomas holds a Diploma in Technical Science in Biotechnology, Process Technology, and Chemistry from Syddansk Universitet, completed between 2014 and 2016.
