Riku-Pekka Hägg

Riku-Pekka Hägg serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Steerprop since January 2020, overseeing the development of sustainable azimuth propulsors. Additionally, Riku-Pekka holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Daphne Technology, an organization focused on innovative maritime solutions for environmental challenges, and has been a Board Member at PowerCell Sweden AB since April 2020, working with hydrogen fuel cell technology. Previously, Riku-Pekka held various roles at Wärtsilä Corporation, culminating in Vice President of Ship Design from 2007 to 2019, and has significant board experience across multiple organizations, including Onesea autonomous maritime ecosystem and Eniram Oy. Riku-Pekka holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from LUT University and has pursued executive education at esteemed institutions including IMD and Cranfield School of Management.
