M.D. Arifur Rahman

Md. Arifur Rahman is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Plant Engineering Manager II at Dart Container since July 2023. Prior to this role, Arifur held the position of Senior Maintenance Engineer at Tate Inc. from November 2021 to July 2023 and has over 15 years of experience at Bata Bangladesh in various leadership roles, including Acting Incharge of Production and Assistant General Manager for the Supply Chain Department. Arifur's career also includes significant contributions at Hameem Group, Tampaco Foils Ltd., Akij Group, and Jayson Pharmaceutical Industry, where notable achievements include leading workforce development initiatives, successfully managing major production projects, and overseeing plant expansions. Arifur holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology, a Diploma in Supply Chain Management from ITC SME Trade Academy, and an MBA in Finance and Banking from International Islamic University Chittagong.
