Joe Giovanelli is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Tax at Databricks since June 2021, Joe previously held roles as Tax Director and Tax Manager at PwC from September 2014 to June 2021. Prior to PwC, Joe was a Director at Alvarez & Marsal from August 2009 to August 2014, and worked as an Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers from July 2007 to July 2009. Joe's expertise includes focusing on tax accounting for Mutual Fund and Hedge Fund clients. Joe holds a Master’s in Public Accounting with a concentration in Taxation and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, both from the UW Foster School of Business.
