Roger Carthew is the current Chief Human Resources Officer at DataProphet. Prior to this, they were the General Manager at SWAROVSKI from January 2017 to December 2019. There, they were responsible for leading the Swarovski Global Lighting Business with multimillion-dollar annual sales.
Under Carthew's leadership, the team recruited a new high-caliber VP of Operations and overhauled the team. Factory efficiency increased from 82% to over 95%. Additionally, they upgraded leadership and talent depth in all areas, transforming organizational capability to support customer and consumer experience in 18 months. They also drove culture from a manufacturing to a consumer-centric mindset. Lastly, they created a new "in and outsourced" manufacturing solution (40% lower cost of goods) while retaining the essence of the brand through a focused handcrafted operation in the US for premium and custom lighting (high margin product).
Roger Carthew completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at the University of Nottingham.
Roger Carthew reports to Frans Cronje, CEO & Co-founder. They are on a team with Andrea Böhmert - Chief Commercial Officer, Frederik Theron - Head of PMO, and Justin Larsen - Chief Financial Officer.
