THE ROLE
As a Delivery Manager, you’ll assist with the successful delivery of the company’s projects across AI, Analytics and Engineering on Google Cloud for our customers. This position will suit a passionate Agile advocate with proven experience in a delivery or project manager role managing the full delivery cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage project execution and delivery, scope, resourcing & staffing, reports and communication, issues and resolutions, project financials, and customer satisfaction - to ensure joint success for the customer and Datatonic.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction across all projects by maintaining best-in-class project management and delivery standards.
- Identify, apply and improve appropriate Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scrumban etc.) and techniques, being mindful of clients’ culture and operating environment.
- Assess project performance and aim to maximize ROI by offering outstanding business value to our clients.
- Identify obstacles and bring innovative ways to help the team to overcome them.
- Manage communications with stakeholders, managing clients’ expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system.
- Own project health, proactively identifying and managing project sentiment, financials and risk
- Be an excellent facilitator by empowering the teams and paving the way for project success.
- Contribute to process, operational efficiency and excellence - continually challenging and testing how we operate
- Stakeholder engagement across internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a change agent to ensure successful project outcomes
- Financial management of projects including budgets, margins and profit/loss
- RAG/RAID management across projects being maintained
Requirements
- Project management/delivery management experience, some of which within a management consultancy, SaaS provider or tech start-up.
- Experiencing in delivering complex projects/programmes
- Enterprise Good understanding of Agile and hybrid ways of working as well as fundamentals of Waterfall delivery
- Agile Project Management, Prince2 or Scrum certification.
- Experience with JIRA or similar ITS software.
- Previous experience with data and/or analytics projects and/or public cloud.
- Proven senior stakeholder management experience (client-side and internal).
- A natural communicator with an engaging and considerate approach.
- A supportive, committed, and empathetic attitude in the performance of daily duties.
- Desire to join a diverse, multinational team of ML & AI enthusiasts.
- Passion for innovative technological solutions.
Bonus points (but not essential!):
- Prior experience in start-up / scale-up.
- Multi-lingual (especially but not limited to German, French, Portuguese and Spanish).
- Cloud Certification e.g. Google CDL, AWS Solution Architect
- Salesforce or CRM tool experience
