Douglas Fridsma is an internationally recognized expert in health informatics and health information technology, currently serving as Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Health Universe, Inc., where Douglas accelerates the implementation of machine learning and AI algorithms in healthcare. Additionally, Douglas acts as a Senior Advisor at Datavant, focusing on industry policies and standards, and previously held various leadership roles, including President and CEO of the American Medical Informatics Association, where Douglas transformed the organization into a key voice for informatics professionals. As the founder and CEO of Inicio Health, Douglas consults for early-stage start-ups and supports strategic engagement in health IT, while also contributing as a Founding Board Member at The Center for New Data.
