Skylar Anderson

Skylar Anderson is a skilled electrician with extensive experience in the electrical industry, currently serving as a Journeyman Wireman and Job Steward at Day & Zimmermann since January 2023, and as a Journeyman Electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) since June 2017. With five years of focused expertise in plant maintenance and upgrades at the TVA Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Skylar is also the current LU Representative for IBEW 558 electricians at Day & Zimmermann. Education includes completion of the IBEW 558/NALJATC Apprenticeship from July 2018 to May 2023, a Bachelor's degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a focus on Interior Architecture and Design from the University of North Alabama (2009-2014), a Certificate in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology from Northwest Shoals Community College (2004-2006), and a General diploma from Sheffield High School (2001-2003).
