David Cheng

David Cheng is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in macro strategy and portfolio management across various leading financial institutions. Currently serving as a Macro Strategist and Portfolio Manager at DBS Bank since May 2023, David previously held the role of Investment Director at both Capital Group and Schroders. Prior to that, David was the Head of APAC ex-Japan Investment Specialists at UBS, overseeing fixed income products and managing multi-sector portfolios. David's career includes significant contributions as a Senior Portfolio Manager at HP, an Investment Manager at Megapolitan Investment Group, and a Portfolio Manager at Western Asset Management. David began a career in finance as an Equity Analyst at ShockMarket and as a Credit Analyst at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. David holds a BSE and BAS in Finance and Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
