Guillermo Brotons

Guillermo Brotons is an experienced creative professional currently serving as a Faculty member at the School of Visual Arts since September 2024 and as Co-founder and Creative Director at Decimal Studios, a New York-based design and technology studio established in October 2020. Previously, Guillermo held the position of Creative Director at AREA 17 from January 2013 to March 2020, focusing on client strategies for branding projects and digital products. Prior roles include Design Director and Art Director at AREA 17, where interdisciplinary methods were applied to create modern interactive systems, as well as co-founding Scroll Studios in Barcelona, where design and web engineering were emphasized. Additional experience includes graphic design positions at Fabrica and Actar, where initial works involved book design for architecture firms and art institutions. Guillermo holds a Master of Arts in Graphic Design from the London College of Communication, completed in 2008.
