Defense Finance and Accounting Service
Raymond (Ray) Gaw is the Director, Defense Finance and Accounting Service Texarkana, where he has served since June 2021. As a director, he oversees the operation of the non-appropriated fund accounting and payroll office serving Army and DOD morale welfare and recreation activities worldwide.
Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Gaw served as the DFAS Executive Liaison to the Veterans Benefits Agency, Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, he ensured military retirees received accurate and timely pension and disability payments.
In 2018, Mr. Gaw was the chief of staff for the DFAS Strategy and Support Directorate helping to lead over 2,100 professionals providing information technology, human resource, strategy, and other support services for DFAS and the Department of Defense.
