Jai Prasad is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the blockchain and finance sectors. As Co-Founder of Definitive since October 2022, Jai focuses on unlocking onchain finance. Previously, as Crypto Product Lead at Coinbase from April 2020 to July 2022, Jai led a team of over 50 engineers in developing infrastructure and APIs that securely managed over $100 billion in crypto assets. Jai's experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of TokenAnalyst, which provided real-time blockchain analytics before its acquisition by Coinbase. Additional roles include Software Engineer at SeedInvest, where Jai contributed to scaling a regulated investment platform, and Entrepreneur at Startup Chile, where Jai launched Entrywire.com. Early career experience includes consultancy at Accenture and an internship at Merrill Lynch. Jai holds dual degrees in Systems Engineering and Economics, and Economics from the University of Virginia.
