Following that, they worked at Cargill as a Maintenance & Reliability Leader, where they managed the equipment and capacity of a large grain export facility.

John then joined Honeywell, holding various positions including Senior Manufacturing Manager, where they oversaw plant operations, maintenance, and startup projects.

Most recently, John Thompson has been working at Delek US Holdings, Inc. in different roles, including Vice President & General Manager for the Krotz Springs Refinery and the El Dorado Refinery.

Throughout their career, they have shown strong leadership skills, managing teams and projects in different industries.

John Thompson attended Louisiana State University from 1993 to 1995, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering. John then attended the Naval Postgraduate School from 1999 to 2001, earning two degrees: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained two certifications: Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional from the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals in 2010, and Six Sigma Green Belt from Honeywell, Inc. in 2010.
