Peter Vink

Peter Vink is a professor at TU Delft since 2001, actively engaged in developing new products and environments that enhance comfort, performance, and health. Vink holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Medical Faculty of the University of Leiden, focusing on the effects of products on lumbar back muscles, and a Master's degree in human movement science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Vink has guided multiple PhD projects, supervising work at TNO and BMW, while also contributing to the fields of participatory ergonomics and environmental design. Previous roles include principal scientist at TNO, where research on comfort and design was conducted, and team manager at TNO, leading a team of experts in various design and health research fields.
