Michael O'Connell

Michael O'Connell is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in business applications engineering and technical operations. Currently serving as Director of IT Business Applications Engineering at Deltek since October 2015, Michael previously held the position of Software Architect at Old Town IT, LLC from October 2013 to October 2015, and served as Senior Director of Technical Operations at Avectra from May 2007 to October 2013. Michael's roles have involved leading technical teams to ensure robust application and infrastructure support, aligning Applications and IT Operations, and providing comprehensive application lifecycle support for enterprise and SaaS products. Michael holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, both from George Mason University.
