Igor Polishchuk

Igor Polishchuk is a seasoned database engineering professional with extensive experience in database reliability and architecture. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Database Reliability Engineering at Demandbase since November 2019, Igor has successfully built and managed a distributed DBRE team while achieving significant cost savings by optimizing database infrastructure. Prior roles include Sr. Director of Data Architecture at SyncHR, where Igor rebuilt database infrastructure and improved query performance, and Director of Database Architecture at a Quantitative Hedge Fund, implementing efficient database configurations that drastically reduced setup time. With a foundational career at PowerReviews, Bazarvoice, and various organizations, Igor has consistently demonstrated expertise in database management, performance tuning, and team leadership. Igor holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from South Urals State University and a BS in Economics and Banking from the Russian Institute of Finance and Economics.
