Graham Buckley has extensive maritime engineering experience, currently serving as a 1st Engineer at DEME Group since May 2021, responsible for watch duties and maintenance. Previously, Graham worked as a 3rd Engineer and Commissioning Engineer on the RRS Sir David Attenborough at Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited, contributing to system readiness for sea trials. Additional roles include 3rd Engineer positions at Atlantic Offshore, Sealion Shipping Limited, Global Offshore & Marine Systems Pte Ltd, and Denholm Coates & Co. Ltd, where responsibilities included watch duties and maintenance across various vessel types. Early career experience involved cargo machinery maintenance at Transocean and diverse engineering positions with multiple companies from 1978 to 1994. An apprenticeship as a Fitter Turner was completed at Scott Precision Engineering from 1974 to 1978, providing foundational technical skills.
