Hilde Vermeire has a solid work experience in the finance and accounting field. Hilde started their career as an Auditor at Deloitte (Arthur Andersen) in 1991. Later, they joined DEME Group, where they held various roles. Hilde worked as an Accountant and Consolidation Officer from May 1994 to 2000. In 2000, they became a Finance and Management Reporting Officer until 2004. Finally, from March 2004, they served as the Chief Consolidation and Reporting Officer, responsible for producing, analyzing, and reporting quarterly consolidated group figures for both statutory and management reporting.
Hilde Vermeire holds a Master's degree in Corporate income tax from Universiteit Antwerpen - IPO - UAMS, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998. Hilde also earned another Master's degree in Aggregation for teaching from the University of Antwerp from 1989 to 1991, specializing in Applied Economics - Finance during the same period. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, Hilde Vermeire acquired a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp.
