Sergejs Antonovs has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Sergejs began their career in 2008 as a 2nd Engineer at Vroon, where they worked until 2011. Sergejs then joined Viking Supply Ships AS as a 2nd/1st Engineer, responsible for managing maritime operations and ensuring safety and pollution prevention. In 2016, Sergejs Antonovs joined DEME Group as a Chief Engineer, where they have held multiple roles, including overseeing the maintenance and operation of the engine department and managing engine personnel. Sergejs has also gained knowledge in vessel operating budget management through the Board Management System.
Sergejs Antonovs obtained their Bachelor of Engineering - MEng degree specializing in Specialty for Ships with Propulsion Power of 3000KW or more from the Latvian Maritime Academy. Sergejs attended this academy from 1997 to 2002.
In 2016, Sergejs Antonovs enrolled in Baltic International Academy for their Bachelor's degree. Sergejs pursued Gestalt Psychology as their field of study and completed this program in 2021.
