Sam Ali is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in product innovation and mentoring within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as an Advisor for Healthcare Product Innovation at Intune Bio since February 2020, Sam Ali also advises and mentors emerging Canadian healthcare CEOs through roles with CELS and the Alberta Innovation Advisory Council. As a Fellow at SPIRE Bioventures and involved in strategic corporate investments at Denka Corporation, Sam Ali contributes to innovative healthcare solutions. Previously, Sam Ali co-founded BioXpertz.org and the Pharmaceutical Development Institute. A former Senior Research Scientist at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Sam Ali has also held post-doctoral positions focusing on virology and immunology. Sam Ali holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Ottawa.
