Ruby Dorchester is an accomplished sculptor and studio owner with extensive experience in the art and glass industry. Currently serving as an Assistant Preparator at the Denver Art Museum since February 2020, Ruby has also held various roles including Exhibition Assistant and Installation Assistant for notable projects such as the site-specific artwork “Ripple” by Daniel Clayman. With a background that includes managing Montague Studios and teaching at Pilchuck Glass School, Ruby has been instrumental in creating and coordinating visual elements for exhibitions and workshops. Ruby holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design and has contributed to various organizations, including Historic Fraser, Inc., where Ruby acted as Secretary of the Board of Directors.
