Paul Rose has over 39 years of extensive experience in the British Army's Royal Corps of Signals, culminating in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Currently serving as Head of Security Operations Support at the Department for Work and Pensions since July 2019, Paul has previously held critical leadership roles within the UK Ministry of Defence, including Head of IT and Assistant CIO, managing around 150 personnel and ensuring the delivery of effective IT services across approximately 25,000 MoD personnel. Other notable roles include leading a successful program for UK-French Defence interoperability, commanding operations during the UK’s response to the Ebola crisis, and driving significant efficiencies in communications systems support.
