Dave Mihalic is a management consultant and advisor with extensive experience in natural and cultural resource issues, particularly in the management and planning of national parks and world heritage sites. Since 2003, Dave Mihalic has served as Principal at Heritage Resources Group LLC. In addition, Dave Mihalic has held the position of Senior Advisor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Interior since April 2017 and has been an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University since 2014, teaching graduate-level courses on advanced ecosystem management and park partnerships. Prior to these roles, Dave Mihalic was Superintendent of Yosemite National Park from 1999 to 2003. Dave Mihalic holds an Advanced Executive Program degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Science in Park Management from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
