Malia Losordo

Malia Losordo is an experienced attorney-advisor specializing in water resources, currently serving in the U.S. Department of the Interior since April 2022. Prior to this role, Malia held positions as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, where responsibilities included managing civil and criminal cases, conducting legal research, and supervising externs. Malia has also worked with the Oregon Appellate Courts, contributing to opinions and analyses of cases in both the Oregon Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Additional experience includes internships in various legal and water resource capacities, as well as significant research roles at notable institutions such as UC San Diego and Duke University. Malia holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law and a Master of Science in Water Resources Policy and Management from Oregon State University.
