Eugene L.

Eugene L. is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Desert Research Institute since September 2023, following extensive experience in engineering and project management. Previously, Eugene served as a Senior Project Engineer at Dome Construction from August 2020 to March 2023, managing tenant improvements and structural upgrades for projects valued between $3 million and $30 million. Eugene also worked as an Outdoor High Adventure Trip Leader for California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from September 2017 to August 2020, organizing and leading adventure trips for students. Additional experience includes internships at Cahill Contractors and The Haskell Company, where Eugene gained insights into project management and industrial construction techniques. Eugene started a career in winemaking as a Cellar Hand at Matchbook Wine Company during a harvest internship in 2016. Eugene holds a Bachelor's of Science in Construction Management and Soil Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Hydrology at the University of Nevada, Reno, expected to complete by June 2026.
