David Lituma is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and community instruction. Currently serving as a Social Worker at Queens Hospital Center since April 2022, David also holds a position as a Community Instructor at the Developmental Disabilities Institute since December 2016. David has contributed to academic research as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, where involvement included studying Alzheimer’s Disease and conducting behavioral tests on rodents. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stony Brook University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Suffolk County Community College.

DDI is currently serving more children and adults with Autism then any other service provider here on Long Island. We serve over 1,500 children and adults with Autism and other developmental disablities.
