Jie Zhu is a Senior Scientist at Dexcom since June 2022, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California San Diego from July 2018 to June 2022. During this time, Jie Zhu designed and constructed polyhedron protein cages through inorganic chemical strategies. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from August 2012 to May 2018, where contributions involved designing, synthesizing, and characterizing novel Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for CO2 reduction and fixation, as well as synthesizing supramolecular complexes for photodynamic therapy.
