Ahtisham Abbasi is a Doctoral Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since January 2022, focusing on deep learning and machine learning models to investigate genomic mechanisms with an emphasis on state-of-the-art classification models for healthcare data science. Prior to this role, Ahtisham served as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Kaiserslautern from September 2019 to January 2022. Ahtisham holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) (2013-2017).
