Sheldon Pereira

Sheldon Pereira serves as the Deputy Head of School at SJK School since May 2023, concurrently holding the position of Assistant Head of School, Community. Pereira is also a Principal Consultant at Tempus Leadership Consulting and a Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Educational Research at Lancaster University, where studies are focused on higher education. Previous roles include Vice-Provost for Student Experience and Enrolment Management at Sheridan College, and various senior positions at Wilfrid Laurier University, including Senior Executive Officer for Internationalization and Chief of Staff. Additional experience includes Stakeholder Relationships Manager for the City of Waterloo and multiple roles in Student Affairs at Wilfrid Laurier University. Pereira's educational qualifications include a PhD candidate in Educational Research from Lancaster University, alongside certificates from Harvard Graduate School of Education and First Nations University of Canada, and a Master's degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University.
