Jesko Hermann is a Senior Researcher and Team Leader at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) and SmartFactory-KL, roles held since June 2019 and June 2017 respectively. Jesko has also served as a researcher in both organizations. Prior to these positions, Jesko completed an internship at Technologie-Initiative SmartFactory KL e.V., focusing on support for the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Center in Kaiserslautern. Jesko holds a Dr.-Ing. in Maschinenbau from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, obtained in November 2021, as well as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Engineering Science from Ecole Nationale Supérieure en Génie des Systèmes et de l'Innovation (ENSGSI) and multiple degrees in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen with a focus on Maschinenbau from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
