Valerio Corniani serves as Vice President Asia Pacific and Managing Director ANZ at Diab since February 2012, overseeing all subsidiaries in the region focused on renewable energy, marine, aerospace, automotive, civil, and defence sectors, with P&L responsibility. Previous roles include Group Marine Manager at Diab, where strategic direction for the global marine segment was established, and Principal Engineer, responsible for launching a structural engineering office in Australia. Corniani founded VSE Consulting, achieving profitability in a short period, and held roles such as Engineering Manager, Design Engineer, and IT Manager at Gurit. Early career experiences include Production Engineer at AgustaWestland and Navy Officer in the Italian Navy. Corniani holds a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and additional studies at Stockholm School of Economics.
