Job description

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our new solution. This role is a unique opportunity to build a product from the ground up, playing a pivotal role in shaping its vision, strategy, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing technologies, data management, and experience managing complex product development cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy:
  • Define the vision and strategy for our new product, aligning it with the company’s overall goals and market needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key opportunities and differentiators.
  • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap, setting clear goals and milestones.
  • Product Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive the product development process.
  • Define and prioritize product features, ensuring they align with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to translate product requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Oversee the development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Customer and Market Insights:
  • Engage with customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to gather feedback and insights that inform product decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including data privacy regulations and digital marketing tools.
  • Analyze customer behavior, product usage, and market trends to continuously improve the product.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the new product, in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Create compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target customers, including digital marketers, IT professionals, and data analysts.
  • Support the sales team with product training, demos, and materials to effectively communicate the product’s value proposition.
  • Product Lifecycle Management:
  • Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market conditions to iterate and improve the product post-launch.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from launch through growth, maturity, and eventual optimization or decommissioning.
  • Lead the development of product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and compliance materials.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or Engineering)

Experience:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in digital marketing, data management, or related technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products, particularly those requiring technical complexity and integration.
  • Experience with data privacy tools is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, tag management systems, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Confluence).
  • Understanding of Tag Managers, including their implementation, use cases, and potential challenges.
