Herman Roos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational and commercial roles. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Didriksons since December 2018, Herman has previously developed expertise in operations and sales management at ASICS EMEA from November 2013 to November 2018, including positions as Operations Manager for the Nordics & Benelux and Sales Operations Manager for Sweden. Before that, experience includes serving as Store Replenishment Manager at Team Sportia AB from January 2010 to October 2013 and as Store Replenishment Planner at INTERSPORT Sverige from January 2008 to December 2009. Herman Roos holds an academic background from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.

At Didriksons we have one simple philosophy: We don’t challenge the elements. We adopt to them. That is the same idea used by Julius and Hanna Didrikson when they started making workwear for the fishermen in Grundsund, on the rim of Sweden’s western coastline, back in 1913. Our concept is to create functional clothes, with a timeless design, to be worn every day, no matter what the weather. Today the world is different than it was when we started. That means we have to take better care of it. We constantly develop our environmental work, and strive to reduce our footprints in this world. We minimize chemicals, we ban all toxic substances, and we try to reduce our use of water, energy and transportation as much as we can. This is an ongoing work, and we’ll probably never finish.
