Debbie Victor (Mertsch) has a strong background in human resources management. Debbie is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Digicall Group since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Nova Human Capital Solutions starting in 2012, where they held the role of Executive Director and headed the HR and IR consulting divisions. Before that, they were the Director at Silburn Drake Staff Connection from 2008 to 2012, where they were responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business and leading various HR projects. From 2003 to 2007, they served as the HR Director at Humanec, where they led the HR Consulting division and managed client relationships. Debbie began their career as an HR practitioner at Columbus Stainless in 1996. Prior to their current role, Debbie was an Executive Director at Intellect Direct from 1998 to 2002, overseeing the HR and payroll functions for the CIE Group.

Debbie Victor (Mertsch) has a strong educational background in psychology and accounting. In 1991, they began their studies at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they completed a Bachelor of Education in Clinical Psychology with distinction (Cum Laude) in 1994. Following this, they pursued further studies in psychology at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, earning a BA Honours degree in Clinical and Industrial Psychology from 1995 to 1996. Additionally, in 1998, they completed a Certificate course in Managerial Accounting from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
