Simon Barnett

Simon Barnett is a seasoned research and finance professional with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Research Director at Dimension since June 2023, Simon is focused on developing innovative human and digital systems for research. Prior to this role, Simon held the position of Director of Life Sciences Research at ARK Investment Management LLC, where leadership was provided to an interdisciplinary team, and significant expansion of research into novel therapeutic modalities was accomplished. Simon's earlier roles include Genomics Analyst at ARK Investment Management and Lead Organizer at 3 Day Startup, showcasing a strong blend of analytical and entrepreneurial skills. Simon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, obtained in 2018.
