Matt Samson is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic internal and external communications. Currently serving as Senior Director of Internal Communications at Discover Financial Services since May 2021, Matt has previously held significant roles such as Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President at Huntington National Bank, as well as Executive Vice President at Golin. With a background that includes campaign leadership and media relations expertise, Matt has successfully secured major press coverage and orchestrated communications strategies for high-profile initiatives. In addition to professional achievements, Matt co-founded the LIVE Foundation for Cancer Research, demonstrating a commitment to empowering individuals affected by cancer.
