Ashraf El-Assaly, PhD, PEng has had extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Ashraf has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Noble Corporation since 2019, where they were responsible for managing operations, developing job descriptions, establishing safety measures, and mitigating risks.

Prior to this, Ashraf worked as a Professor at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport starting in 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Senior Civil Engineering Manager at Dornier Engineering Consulting, where they represented the Al-Riyadh Development Authority in Saudi Arabia and worked on enhancing and modifying road intersections within the City of Riyadh as part of the Saudi Vision 2030.

Ashraf also served as a Department Manager at SNC-Lavalin from 2008 to 2011, where they managed engineering work activities for ongoing projects and performed strategic planning.

Ashraf was the President of Canadian Innovative Management Solution from 2007 to 2010, and prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Sinai Engineering, overseeing power supply projects for Oil and Gas Plants.

Ashraf also served as an Infrastructure Manager at Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation from 2004 to 2006 and as a Project Engineer at CoSyn Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they led planning and implementation of engineering work packages.

Ashraf El-Assaly, PhD, PEng, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University. Ashraf later pursued their Master's in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering, followed by a Master's in Structural Engineering, both at the University of Florida. Ashraf continued their education at the University of Florida and earned a PhD in Construction Engineering and Engineering Management, specializing in Civil Engineering. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ashraf El-Assaly holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from the institution Approve Engineering Work.
